The Aftermath of a Kiss

I’ll be overwhelmed by all these emotions. Because that’s what a kiss is supposed to be. It’s supposed to be meaningful. It’s supposed to be caring, and maybe even loving. It’s supposed to be special. It’s not something you should give away so easily. It’s not something for random strangers you meet in parties. It’s for someone you at least like. It’s for someone you care for.

But it’s not. 
I hate that I let myself open my heart to you knowing the minute I met you that you’ll just rip it apart without remorse.
